  24. INSTDAT.BAT - WINDAT install batch file. This file is automatically
  25.               run by INSTALL.BAT
  26. SFX31.EXE   - Self-Extracting archive with the sound drivers enclosed.
  27. DAT31.EXE   - Self-Extracting archive with the new WINDAT program.

  33.  NOTE: The Stereo■F/X card must be installed and working before following
  34.        the procedure outlined below.

  36. 1) Run the INSTALL batch file specifying the floppy drive to which the driver
  37.    files are to be extracted.

  39.    To install the drivers onto drive A:,

  41.    INSTALL A:

  43.    To install the drivers onto drive B:,

  45.    INSTALL B:

  47. 2) Next, read through or print out the READ.ME file. This file will
  48.    be located on the floppy disk that the INSTALL batch file creates.
  49.    READ.ME explains how to install of the Stereo■F/X sound drivers and
  50.    how to install the WINDAT program.

  73. 1) The Stereo■F/X Windows 3.1 sound drivers can be extracted with the
  74.    following syntax:

  76.    For drive A:,

  78.      SFX31 /EA:

  80.    For drive B:,

  82.      SFX31 /EB:
  83.  
  84. 2) Delete all the files from your WINDAT directory.
  85.  
  86. 3) Run the DAT31.EXE file as follows:
  87.  
  88.    DAT31 /EC:\SFX\WINDAT
  89.  
  90.    NOTE: C:\SFX\WINDAT represents the directory where WINDAT is to reside.
  91.          If WINDAT is located in a different directory on your hard disk,
  92.          specify your directory in place of C:\SFX\WINDAT
  93.  
  94. 4) See step 2 in Easy Installation.

  97. │Re-installing WINDAT│

  100. INSTALL.BAT will automatically extract the new WINDAT to your hard disk along
  101. with the Stereo■F/X Windows drivers. Should you find it necessary to re-install
  102. WINDAT, use the INSTDAT.BAT batch file. It will extract WINDAT for your hard
  103. disk for you. Alternatively, you can follow step 3 above in the Manual
  104. Installation section.
